I like to think that my family is very unique. But what does it mean to be a Fischer? What makes my family, my family?
Does birth order have an effect on personality?
I like what Sister Steadman said, maybe if you needed more you could research the contrast between the oldest and the youngest? I just know in my family that if we were to compare the oldest and the youngest they have completely different lives and personalities.
That seems like a pretty broad question, but I bet you could find lots of information on it if you used the right tools like Family Search and other resources. You could also talk about how your grandparents influenced your parent's personalities and how your parents influenced yours. There's always good stuff to research when you're talking about your family because there is stories and things you've never heard before that you can find. Good Luck!
I think this is kind of dorky for me to notice, but it made me laugh. Your title I read is "Just Keep Swimming" and right after I read what you are researching about..."What does it mean to be a FISCHER." I just thought it was funny :) However, I think that is really cool about researching about birth order and personality. I would love to know the answer, so researching this would be really interesting, I'm sure you won't have any problems finding sources.
Birth order would be a fun topic to study for sure. I am the youngest and I definitely have a special place in my heart for all of the underdogs out there and I think it is because I was one for so long... I'm excited to hear/ read what you find.
If you need to narrow your search, you could focus on the youngest of the family to mirror your experience.
